Vaccines: More Is Not Always Better

Not every vaccine is beneficial to every cat and dog. At the Veterinary Outpatient Treatment Center, we recommend pets be vaccinated based on their lifestyle and the risks associated with it.

Our doctors will get to know your pet on an individual basis. We'll then create a personalized plan for your pet based on their lifestyle and history so that your pet receives the right vaccination at the right time.

While important, vaccines will minimize disease effects but not necessarily eliminate them. It is always important to exercise parasite control in an effort to avoid disease all together.

Every precaution will be taken to minimize adverse vaccine reactions by spreading them out and not over vaccinating. Each client will be fully educated on these potential adverse vaccine reactions and what steps to take in the rare instance that one occurs.
